@Baldric990 - obviously not an expert in spelling or you would be more "spacific"! ;o) Perhaps after you "develope" your spelling your claims of being an expert will be more credible...

@Baldric990 - many areas are still developing and they have yet to impliment strong hygiene in thier education system. They are most definately not all like that but I totally believe your story. However you should see India...that country is just disgusting. At least China is slowly improving.

A t.v. news man was fired today because he made fun of Mexicans alot. The Mexicans demanded that the news station fire the man. His name is Lou Dobbs. You can see how this thing works. If you have enough people on your side, you can fight back and win. Vietnamese people mostly here stay with each other, and they do well for themselves. It's good to have your "family" close, then you can try to make friends with the others, knowing they might be mean and rejecting at first. It takes time.

American people make fun of anyone, not just Vietnamese people. The culture here is a military culture, people gang up on others whom they see as defenseless and vulnerable. oday it's a Vietnamese person from a poor family, tomorrow it's a rich, beautiful white American girl who's new to the neighborhood. Anyone who is isolated is a target, anyone who doesn't fit in. You need to have your group of people behind you, your own people, people like you. Then you stand up to the bullies.

but look at all the video out there on youtube of regular america ppl who call vietnam nail salon just to harass the lady and make fun of her accent, there are many many of these type of vid...or comedian who mock vietnam ppl in their routine in front of audience and everyone laugh so hard...like the angelah johnson/russel peter/ken jeong routineback in school, all the america kid alway tease us vietnam

I'm from the USA, Vietnamese people are not made fun of here. Many Chinese have dark skin just like Vietnamese, too.Don't worry about what others think of you, stay with people who are good to you and live your life. No matter who you are or what you have, there will always be people who look down on you for whatever reason. Just be yourself, be with people who like you, and do what you want with your life.
