Heard a while back China wanted a way to dissove of this problem, I GOT IT!! they hate japan anyhow, so why not build super sized Mega Fans, and blow it towards them.

@onlyonecai - solar farms have a high inital cost and low running costs- maintenance is tiny compared to a nuclear reactor costing over years.- space requirement is very debatable- many high energy users do not have rainy seasons eg Australia, Spain- energy storage isnt toxic, molten salt or flywheel batteries do not pollute.

guys dont worry, its in their environment, not ours. all good

@guitardudeguy00 Solar farm is not that clean and that practical. 1st expansive, 2nd high maintenance costs, 3rd requires a lot of space, 4th highly unreliable in rainy season, thus needs energy storage -> 5th energy storage is toxic. But they are indeed building wind farm in massive scale, generating 1,300 MW in 2005 to 25,000 MW in 2009(world 3rd, almost bypassing Germany). And China is the world's largest hydroelectric energy producer. Three Gorges dam is the world largest dam.

@guitardudeguy00 Half of the cars were pulled and are still being pulled off the road as of today, its not just for Olympics. And China has world leading electric car company and they are starting to sell world first commercial e-cars.

@calitiger2010 Well, you are suggesting they were poisoning people ON PURPOSE. Care to elaborate the proof? More like they didn't even know what was in it. If I were to MAXIMIZE profit, I wouldn't add any extra thing in it. Even its toxic, it still costs extra money. And you still fail to explain why somehow it is still linked to the government. It's a company PERIOD. Politics and corporations are mean to be well separated after 1990s. And this is so off topic.
